The Lord God Made Them All!
Dr Mike grew up in southern Illinois on a beef cattle ranch. He became interested in veterinary medicine from observing the local veterinarian when he would come out to their farm. By 8th grade, Dr Mike new what he wanted to do with his life. After 8 years of college at the University of Illinois (Go Illini!), he and his wife Rhonda moved to Sheffield, Iowa to begin his veterinary career. After 5 years, Dr. Mike and another veterinarian opened the practice in Sheffield. That years was 1992, also the same year he and his wife welcomed identical twin boys into the family! Since 1997, Dr Mike has been practicing by himself and thoroughly enjoying every moment.
Tally is an Iowa girl who settled in Sheffield 20+ years ago. She and her husband live in town along with their 4 children and one grandchild. Tally has a love for all animals ( well, except reptiles), as attested by her home for 3 dogs and 4 cats. Tally has worked at the Sheffield Veterinary Clinic since 2016, and she greatly enjoys working with our clients and their pets.
Annette is a local girl, having gone to Sheffield for school while growing up on a cattle ranch outside of town. She and her husband live in Hampton now as empty nester’s, but they do have two daughters and two grandchildren. When Annette is not working at the clinic, she can probably be found caring for her horses and many pets, or riding horseback somewhere. Annette has been with Sheffield Veterinary Clinic since 2019, and she loves all things furry with four legs
